It is a privilege to recommend without reservation Dr. Marshall Thomas as a manager, though I sometimes think super-agent might be a better term. He was the prime mover in the selling and publication of my novel WHAT DIES IN SUMMER, which first came out this spring in the UK and North America and also has been or shortly will be released in a number of countries in Europe and in Australia. He is tireless, cheerful, highly imaginative, unfailingly ethical and enormously effective at what he does, which includes providing individualized career, business and creative consultation, representation to editors, publishers, literary agents, publicists, production specialists, bloggers, other authors, financial/investment professionals and so forth--sometimes dozens of them simaltaneously--as well as profferring wise counsel and moral support on a PRN basis for the client. His network of associates, friends, contacts and collaborators is highly diverse in terms of skills, talents and resources and extends virtually worldwide. Working with him has been both pleasureable and productive, and I have no hesitation whatever in recommending his services.
Best regards,
Tom

and... from a former colleague:

Marshall! I can't begin to tell you how excited I am to have found your contact information online! It's been 20 years since we last spoke and so much has happened since then. Interestingly, I taped an interview for a local television arts show about my artwork just last week and mentioned that my career really got its start because of meeting you.  And, that is so true Marshall.  It really was because of you that I began to meet the right people, began to believe in myself and push myself to do what I needed to do. I think it's rare for someone to be able to say that meeting someone was a life-changing event but for me meeting you surely was a life-changing/career-changing event. Well, there's really far too much to tell you but I really just wanted to let you know how important those few years of working with you ended up being.  Let's try to keep in touch and whenever you get back to York, I would very much love to get together with you again. Glad I had the chance to tell you how I feel. I hope all is well with you. From what I've read online, looks like you're kept busy!
