Co-produced a "Tribute to Studio-5: Evening of One-Acts" special event, and directed "Landscape" as part of the festivities. Directed two plays for York Little Theatre's Children Center: "The Wind in the Willows" and "Tales of the Brothers' Grimm". Wrote two fairy tale adaptations later directed by other individuals.

Steve has written a number of stage plays for both adults and children. His adult plays include "Opponents" (a two-act drama), "Age-Old Burlesque" (a one-act farce), The Soul Prayer Trilogy (which includes "Lay Me Down To Sleep, "My Soul To Keep" and "Die Before We Wake.") The second two-act play of the trilogy ("My Soul To Keep") was performed in York, PA, a production he directed. Among his children's plays are original, non-musical adaptations of "Beauty and the Beast," (produced in both York and Harrisburg, PA) "Aladin and His Wonderful Lamp" (produced in York and Harrisburg, PA, and as part of a Children's Theater Festival in North Carolina) and "Frosty the Snowman" (produced in York, PA).
Steve also wrote a play based on the 1920's "Hex" murders in York, PA, based, in part,on the court transcript of the trial, entitled "A Spell in November," This play was produced on two separate occasions in York, staged in the actual courtroom where the trial of one of the accused murderers took place. "Hex" was commissioned by the York County Bar Association.

SOUL PRAYER TRILOGY Steve completed an adapted screenplay for the third part of the Soul Prayer Trilogy, which was submitted to the national Project Greenlight competition (produced at that time by Matt Damon and Ben Affleck); out of over 7,000 screenplay submissions, Steve's was name to the top 1,000.
